This Savage 1899 Combination set is one of the very best that I have ever seen for condition & quality. Original condition throughout, blue & wood finish. No extra holes, scope or sling. a great survivor. Original case is in fine condition inside & out.

This rifle retains nearly all of its original factory bright blue. 24" .300 barrel has a mint bore & original factory sights front & rear. Minor handling marks. Minor handling marks on barrel.

The receiver on this gun retains nearly all of it's factory bright blue... minor minor wear on sharp edges. Really shows no carry wear. Sides, top & bottom bright blue. Minor faint scratching on rt side of receiver. Perfect screws. Slight blue wear on rear edge on forend iron takedown iron.

Receiver ring marked "Savage 1899 Model".

Finger lever with all of it's original factory bright color case hardening, inside & out. Correct Marbles tang sight in factory holes.

This combo set has it's original Savage factory wood finish showing handling marks mostly from being in the takedown case. See pics. Wear shows mostly on left bottom of forend & toe of buttstock. Sharp checkering with some damaged points. Original factory fitted gripcap & seratted steel buttplate.

Original .410 barrel, 24", is in near new condition inside & out. MATCHING barrel rollstamps being correct for this set. Solid metal bead.

Original factory takedown case is clean & nice & far above most. Scuffing on outside surfaces, Original nickel hardware. One corner brace missing. Tight & nice. Interior purple lining shows age but correct & nicer than most. Carry handle has been replaced but does not detract.

Original bi-fold Savage 1899 takedown instructions included. A photocopy of the very rare tri-fold Savage Combination Set is included as well. very very rarely found.
