Description:
This ia a great opportunity to get a desirable AH Fox HE grade SuperFox in a very attractive and usable package. A "big gun" that is at home on the Sporting Clays range, Flyer ring and/or the waterfowl blinds.

This HE is a 32" barrel gun with very tight full chokes in both barrels. This gun was chambered as a 3" gun from the Fox factory and is so marked on the original production card as well as the barrel flats. Big "0" weight barrels as you would expect to see on a Super. The barrels alone weigh in at 4# 7oz...the gun's total weight is 9# 2oz.

This gun has a generous amount of original factory color case hardening which shows nicely. Most of the HE Grade guns have been used hard in miserable conditions and most examples of these guns have little to no color remaining. This gun also has most of its factory blueing on the barrels...with some handling marks and wear, mostly right at the breech end.

Barrels are in fantastic condition, no dents, dings or pits inside or out. Mint bores. They ring perfectly. Bore dimensions: R .040 bore, .050 choke, .037 MWT. L .040 bore, .051 choke, .034 MWT. (I am not a gunsmith trained in measurements but these numbers are what I come up with) This gun CRUSHES targets.

Miller Non-selective single trigger which fires the left barrel first. Non-automatic safety.

This gun has been fitted with a beautiful straight grip restock and beavertail forend. The original trigger bow was straightened and lengthened preserving the original serial number engraving...well done. Fit and finish is excellent!! Beautiful color and figure in the walnut. Solid "No-Shoc" recoil pad. Fantastic modern dimensions: 1 1/2" DAC   2" DAH 14 1/16" LOP Did I mention that these were fantastic dimensions??!!! Good looking too!!

The straight grip with these dimensions make this gun a natural shooter. I have personally fired this wonderful Fox and everything works as it should. No cracks, splits or extra holes. Tight & crisp.
