This is the nicest Remington Model 4 rifle that I have ever seen let alone owned in 35 years of collecting. ,32 rimfire caliber. Just really darn honest and nice!!!...especially for a little gun which ordinarily got a ton of use and abuse.

Receiver has 70% + original Remington factory case color with remainder fading to pleasant grey. Screws near perfect. Hammer & breech block retain nearly all factory blue. Proper & original sights.

Barrel retains nearly all of the deep factory blue with minor handling marks and tiny scratches and wear to sharp edges. Nice original sights. The bore on this gun is remarkable for a rimfire gun which are usually corroded to smithereens!! I give this bore a 9.5+ out of 10!

The wood is nice and very sound. Nearly all original varnish remains. Uncracked. no extra holes. Minor handling marks.

This is just a little doll and a real survivor. Desirable takedown variation.
